WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Big school quality + Small school heart

We teach kids ages 5 and up, teens, adults, and families, and welcome students of every background and ability level. Our standards are high, but we make sure every student has the support to reach them.

01

Every Student Gets Attention

Some schools tend to focus heavily on top performers, but we make sure to focus on everyone. All of our classes have multiple instructors on the mat, and our youngest kids’ classes have five or more black belts assisting.

02

Traditional Training, Supportive Atmosphere

Structure and discipline are essential to Taekwondo, and we take both seriously. We also believe that compassion and support are key to success, and we encourage each student to grow at their own pace.

03

More Than Martial Arts

Students gain practical self-defense skills, discipline, and the kind of confidence that comes from working hard to earn achievements. Our goal is for every student to walk out of class feeling better than when they walked in.

What People Are Saying

From our students and their families

★★★★★

“This is a great place to learn Taekwondo! Master Brown is such a great teacher and is patient with the students.

I highly recommend this place and encourage people to join.”

-Diana A.

★★★★★

“My granddaughter has been going here since last fall. Will Brown is very good with the kids. He keeps their attention, but doesn’t hesitate to correct when they start getting out of control. I am very surprised at how fast my granddaughter has learned this. In a short period of time she has moved up several belts.”

MEET THE FOUNDER

MASTER WILL BROWN

Will Brown founded this school in 2015 with a passion for martial arts and teaching, and the belief that every family in the community should have access to learn Taekwondo.

With more than 40 years of training and a 6th Degree Black Belt, he's still on the mat every week, teaching alongside his team and treating every student like one of his own kids.

Taekwondo Training for Everyone

We offer classes for kids ages 5+, teens, adults, and families. Whether you’re brand new to martial arts or you've got years of experience, there's a place for you here.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You’ll start with 2 free trial classes so you can decide if it’s right for you.

    You’ve got options:

  • No, we don’t require contracts.

  • You’ll learn how to bow, practice basic kicks and blocks, and go through drills with the group. If there’s sparring that day, you’ll watch.

  • Not for your first 2 classes. Just wear a t-shirt and sweatpants (no shorts). If you want to keep coming to classes after that, then you’ll need to get a uniform.

  • Ages 5 and up. We have classes for kids, teens, adults, and families.

  • Yes. Families are welcome to join any of our classes.

  • Most students attend 2 to 3 times per week, which is a great frequency for building skills, strength, and endurance at a solid pace.

If that’s more frequent than your schedule allows, that’s okay too. Every student learns and grows at their own pace.

  • We offer belt testing every other month for students that are ready to test. Instructors work with each student to figure out when they’re ready. Students are never required to test on a fixed schedule.

  • The journey to black belt is different for everyone. If you're training consistently 2-3 times a week, it could take around 4-5 years.

It may take longer than that, and that's okay! The belt matters far less than the skills you'll build through your training: self-defense, perseverance, self-discipline, and the ability to push through when something is hard.

My instructors and I are committed to helping every student reach their goals, whatever that looks like for them. Show up, put in the work, and we'll be right there with you.

  • Yes, our students compete in both traditional and sport categories. Competing is always optional though - we’ll help you prepare for tournaments if that’s something you want to do.
